If its profitable and self-aggrandizing, they will stay on board and speak to the cause...But, what is that cause? Who is the TRUE spokesperson? The "party" (if it is to be one, in the model of powerful third, fourth party political movements that have made this country a bastion of freedom of thought, and freedom of individuality and personhood without government/socially/economically engineered influencers) requires a consistent message and a focal point in the form of a leader. Who is deserving? Who really has the best interest of the country and its citizenry in mind?? Who truly understands what democracy is all about?
